English teachers brace yourselves, the latest anti-foreigner TV program is scheduled for this Wednesday night at 11:05 on KBS 2. It will be on the Korean news show In Depth 60 Minutes. The themes of this one? According to the preview, they are drugs, faked degrees, and unlicensed teachers. I'm sure somehow they'll manage to get in how sex-crazed and violent we all are, it is a 60 minute program, after all.

I don't know what to say about this stuff anymore. This seems to be from a more legit program too than the last one. My my it's easy to paint with an enormous brush sometimes isn't.

I think this is absolutely great timing. What better way to divert attention away from the real scandal! All the Koreans with fake degrees!! Soon they'll be putting id chips into every foreigner that wants to come here to teach English....why not? there'll still be a boatload of Canucks lines up!!!

About time. I've been waiting for the foreigner degree problem. I hope this is more fun than the SBS one from a few years ago.

We'll put a link or embed it here after it airs. It's kind of exciting because usually we find out about these things after they've aired. This time it's like waiting for the SuperBowl to start. Think I'm gonna stay in, pick up a few pitchers of Cass, and order some KyoChon. Of course, we could also make it an event and meet at a bar, provided there aren't lots of adjossis about, and there's a taxi stand nearby for a quick getaway (and it's not one of those taxi's that watches TV while he's driving).

Why should we care what the Koreans think anymore its obvious they dont give a damn about foreigners living in this country. If the problem of unqualifid teachers is such a huge, soul destroying thing for the country then theres a simple solution, stop learning the bloody language. That way, korea wont have to deal with these terrorists, actually, they deal quite well with terrorists, whilst also protecting their mongolian pure-blood line. Honestly, love this place, but when things like this happen you've gotta wonder how we are even the same species.
